QR codes in the classroom- who would have thought that this easy way to advertise would make its way into hundreds of classrooms each year. There are so many ways that you can use/utilize QR codes in the elementary classroom....
....scavenger hunts
....secret messages
....practicing sight words
...self checking work
...recording a book review
....interactive bulletin boards
....listening center books
.....phonics reviews
I could keep going on and on, but what is the fun in being given all of the ideas. How about some resources?
First there are MANY QR generators out there. Here are a few of the more reliable ones.
Generate codes OR scan a code with your laptops camera with QR CODE SCANNER
Record MP3 then have an audio file to embed into QR Stuff with RECORD MP3
Have a sentence you want to read aloud? Use QR Voice
You will need a QR reader so here are a few options:

She uses MadLip to stream her music. Just be careful though, there are all kinds of songs here that kids could find not just the classical peice you are looking for.
